About Me:
Hey everyone! In the past 2 or 3 years I've been under a lot of stress. About a year and a half ago I noticed a change in the way my hair looked (and that more and more hairs were comming out). Researching alopecia has jsut left me with more questions than answers. As I see it, there are multiple things that could have triggered my hair loss: diet, stress, medicines (such as accutane), horomones, unhealthy sleep patterns, ect. I'm just looking for some answers. I find this to be true: nothing is to be feared, only to be understood. The more accurate information I know, the better I feel and the less worried I am. Im here to hopefully find some answers, and feel better about myself.
Do you have alopecia?
Female pattern baldness
Are you age 18 or older?

Hi Julia,
Well, by phone is always fine - my home office number is 800-486-1653. Also, I'll be in Atlanta on May 3rd and 4th! Maybe we could even meet! You can send me a private email at dfuller@webryders.com if you want. I'm usually up and available until 9PM and in the morning from 8AM on.

Hi Julia,
I have a good source for nice, net-based European human hair. I don't do much with partial loss, the vacuum is my specialty. Where do you live? I can refer you to someone in your area if you don't live in mine. Try not to get too discouraged. There are a LOT of us out there who aren't bitter and who live full, fun lives with alopecia. Avoid the people who bring you down instead of build you up. Life is too short. Call me if you like too. I'd be happy to chat with you about anything.

Hi Julia,
Thanks for asking me to be your friend! Feel free to write anytime. I've had AU for over 20 years. You're right that all that stuff can trigger alopecia, I'm a very happy well adjusted person, I just don't have any hair! (except my Freedom Hair LOL!). Anyway, life is more than hair. There aren't a lot of answers out there. One of the toughest things about AA in the beginning is to accept that you really have no control over it. However, most people with spots get their hair back without doing anything at all. I will hope that happens in your case and sooner rather than later!!
