- 53 and feeling 93. Had thyroid cancer in my 20's and have been on thyroid meds since. Began losing hair in my mid 40's. Bought many wigs, wore none in public (big chicken!) Started wearing hairpiece last month because hair loss was seriously showing. Hoping to find women in similar situation to share ideas and hope.
