I was diagnosed with alopecia areata in 2006 and now I have alopecia universalis. I’m a NYS licensed esthetician and makeup artist. I volunteer with a program called “Look Good, Feel Better” through the American Cancer Society, we do makeovers on woman who are on chemo. We show them how to do makeup and teach about them about skincare, wigs and head wraps. I understamd the physiological effects of losing your hair as a women and share what I have learned.
