- I was diagnosed with alopecia when 12. I'm currently in my second "trip" of having no hair whatsoever I'm not as confident as I used to be and i worry about people discovering my sickness every day. Having alopecia has made me more appreciative of life and what I have. I decided to sign up for this site looking for support from those around the world who are suffering from alopecia too.
