I am a 27 yr old female from the Boston area of MA. About 8 months ago , I woke up and noticed my hair just started falling out in handfuls. It completely took me by surprise. Recently, I have been losing hair all over the rest of my body ... it's quite painful hair loss. My skin is very sore, a burning/tingling feeling. I have been to doctor after doctor and they say it's Stress alopecia or Telogen Effluvium. However, I truly believe they are wrong. At this point, I just want a diagnoses and I will take things one day at a time. I have found everyone on alopecia world to be so comforting and supportive!
I wear the Gripper by Follea, and I love it! :) Also, I have my eyelashes still, but I get my eyebrows online at beauti-full-brows.com They are temporary tattoos. Super handy :)

I am also 27 and going throught the exact same thing my hair has been shedding like crazy since june and I have been to 2 dermatologists and endocronologists and still no answer told me not to stress about it but I have lost about 75 percent of my hair and have gotten more then depressed over it scared I will loose all my hair and with that my husband :( I have like a burning tingling sensation too but they say my scalp looks normal and it must be telogen effluvium.
Hi Katelyn, thanks for "friending me" . It's good to know you aren't alone out there in MA with this crazy, confusing alopecia! I just skiied at waterville Valley yesterday; I hope you and your new Hubby are getting to enjoy the snow, not just shovel it! BTW, Your wedding pics are gorgeous. And GO PATS !
