Had a case of patchy Alopecia when I was in High School but my hair eventually grew back. Later, in my late 20's it fell out again. Went thru steriod shots and every thing you can imagine. My Dr told me that I was too healthy and happy to keep up these procedures and to get a good wig and be happy. He said by the time I was 40 there probably would be a cure to this issue. Well my hair grew back one more time only to fall out completely again. No eyebrows, no eyelahes and no hair on my body. I did get a good wig and found solutions to the eyebrow and lashes and am living a happy productive life with a husband who loves me hair or not. I am 53 now, no cure in sight, but have learned to live with this condition.
