Went through quite a bit of stress from work and noticed a bit of hair loss, especially when I tied up my hair. However, what was most significantly noticeable was after I wrote a very stressful exam in September and suffered significant hairloss starting mid October... it's still continuing and I saw 2 dermatologist who told me I have telogen effluvium. I'm scared, because it's getting worse and more and more noticeable.
Since my hair is black and my skin is pale, it's very easy to see scalp. I'm getting scared, but I know it's only worsening the situation. I've been using Minoxidil 5% every night and 2% in the day. I haven't seen any improvements yet. Has anyone tried the lasers? I think I may have to resort to hairpieces or wigs soon... Please help!
