I am still fairly new to this site as well. I was diagnosed with alopecia officially in October of 2014; although I noticed I was starting to get bald spots in August of 2014.
I do not attend any support groups, but have met with many people who have alopecia through family and friends. I am more than happy to be a support system for you. Alopecia can be really difficult to accept at first; even still - some people go years and years without ever truly accepting this condition. I try to be as positive as I can and love to spread positivity to others.
Feel free to message me anytime or if you'd like to talk or even set up a time to meet.
