Hi Kim, I have an 8 yr old daughter too. we live in Mass. Welcome. I highly suggest contacting the Children's Alopecia Project to get in their data base. They maybe able to help you locate a family near you. Also, this summer will be their 2nd Alopeciapalooza. It is a weekend of fun dedicated to the kids . There will be activities for the kids and workshops for the parents. This year it is at a camp site in PA and it is reasonably priced. CAP kids are free. Just contact Betsy betsywoytovich@yahoo.com.
