- Im a twenty year old female who has had Alopecia since I was 8 months old. Since then I have suffered from Alopecia Universalis until I was twelve, which then progressed to Alopecial Totalis and now Alopecia Areata. I have never known life without Alopecia, and although it has caused much grief and turmoil throughout my life, it has made me the person I am today. This year I am in my final year of University, and am studying to be a nurse.
