I'm glad you like my hair! It is one of three that I had custom made for me by Brenda Kay Hair Specialties here in Portland. She styles them, too. She works with women all over the country. The pieces she has made are a lot more affordable than most any of the same quality (about $2000). It is virgin European hair.
No, I don't feel obvious in wigs any more. I used to because I didn't have anyone who knew how to make them look real! You'll find out about that in the book too.
HUGS!
I absolutely understand. While gathering research for my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" I interviewed a lot of women who felt exactly the same as you.
(You might want to get a copy -- it's helped a lot of women!) Anyway, things will get better, I promise.
Oh, I'm so glad to hear that you are doing well! I appreciate your sweet comment and want you to know that I am here to talk, for advice or support or whatever, any time!
Hugs back!
