Hey, another Butler! My family has clan rallies every three years at the Kilkenny Castle in Ireland, which the Butlers lived in until 1967. You should go! Google "The Butler Society" and become a member. Here in Portland there's a Butler family reunion every September.
Don't feel bad about not wanting to go without a wig. That is just great for some people, and I respect and admire them for it, but we are all different. I would never go without a wig except in the privacy of my home. There's nothing wrong with wanting to look as "normal" as possible.
Hello and welcome, Linda!
I am sorry you feel like your life has been spoiled by alopecia. I know how hard it is!
I wrote a book about it after having alopecia areata and universalis for about 30 years.
How are you doing today?
