- I have had alopecia from the time I was really young. It started off as alopecia areata and has now developed into alopecia totalis having recently lost my eyelashes and eyebrows as well. I am slowly coming to terms with it. Still on the journey.

Thought id welcome a fellow australian :-) I lost all my hair within a very short time frame, lost most of one eyebrow, now I am getting slight regrowth all over.
Trying to come to terms with it too.... i think the journey is going to be a long one :-)
