- Starting losing my hair in patches at the age of 45. Everyone told me it was anxiety, but I have recently been diagnosed with hashimoto's and I have been having many thyroid issues in the last year and a half. Waiting to see an endocrinologist to start treatment, but while waiting I shaved my head and the "map of the world" look is getting me down. Working on accepting my new condition.
