- I'm 55 years old with beautiful silver colored hair. I stopped coloring my hair when I had cancer a few years ago at the time I was able to avoid chemo. I'm currently experiencing a recurrence of breast cancer and chemo is now a real possibility. I love my hair especially since I've stopped coloring it I love the color and texture have come to appreciate as one of my best features. I'm really sad at the thought of having to give up one of the things that I like so much about me.
