- I am a woman in my early forties who lost all her hair at age 3 1/2. When I was six, it regrew. For years afterwards, I had an active, but highly manageable, case. When I was in my early thirties, that all changed. Since then, I've had alopecia universalis, despite trying many different treatment methods.
