- I'm from Scotland and have had AU for at least 10 years, coincidentally I'll be married for 10 years next year too so on a personal and social aspect my alopecia hasn't held me back.
I have an alopecia of one sort or an other since I was 12 which is 21 years in total and have tried 3 different therapies with differing results the last of which was immuno-therapy which was sadly unsuccessful, though I have come to terms with the alopecia there is still the hope that it will resolve itself. Until then you just have to live life, be happy and proud of yourself.
