I am a single parent of 3 beautiful children. My oldest daughter has alopecia. At age 11 she started to have spots of balding and with in 6 months she lost 75% of her hair. Within a year she lost all of her hair on her head, arms, legs, and eyebrows.

Hello Melissa - I'm sorry to hear of your daughter's young challenges. There is an Alopecia World Wisconsin group (which includes some younger people) called Alopecians in Wisconsin. If you click on "groups" in the black bar above and select "find group", then enter Wisconsin into the search block, a photo of the state will show up. I do understand. I lost all of my hair at the age of 10. I currently wear the gripper. It is an awesome piece which stays on without tape or glue. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
I would be more than happy to lend my support. I have been through childhood, teenage years and adulthood. This is a journey.
Just make sure your daughter feels good about herself with or without hair.
