- I'm 19 and have been struggling with AA pretty much my entire life. i lost nearly everything when i was 12/13. when i was about 16 it started growing back, but just a few months ago it all started coming out again :( it's slowed down and i think i can get by with just wearing a hair piece or well placed extensions, but it sucks it's coming back! i just needed somewhere to talk about it
