Biosilk is a good heat protectant. I use a wig grip to keep it on my head. You can also sew in pu strips, so that you can add tape to hold the wig in place. But tape could mess up the hair when it melts. So I prefer a wi-grip instead.
I still have that wig. It's 1 1/2 year old and still going strong. But it's a short one. (11") I don't sleep in it and if I do, I use a satin sleeping cap. I was the hair once a week. And I use a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner. I use Macadamia shampoo, conditioner and mask. But I never condition the roots, because it could weaken the knots and the hair can fall out. When it's towel dry, I add a drop of Biosilk silk infusion to the hair. From the ears to the bottom. And then I let it air dry. Because it's a short wig I don't need to use heat or use a styling tool. The hair falls the way it needs to fall. The wigs are very long lasting and don't need much maintenance.
Hi! Glad you finally received it! I received it too. You can ask anything about taking care of it. You could also try emailing her from a gmail or yahoo emailaddress. It seems she is not getting some emails lately. She didn't receive mine sent from Hotmail.
