- I am a 25 year-old clinical lab science student, wife and mother of two amazing children; Sophia age 4, and Noble, age 2. My daughter Sophia was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata in July of 2014, but I am wondering if it is progressing to totalis. At any rate, this is shocking and heartbreaking to me, although we are dealing with it alright. I hope this community is just the thing for our family while she is dealing with this.
