My teenage daughter was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata when she was 13. She's now 16 and I believe she should be re-diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis.
We are both struggling to cope with this disease.
Gabby, I am hoping she will look at the site, too. There are so many wonderful people here of all ages, and great resources. But most of all, lots of support. Please let me know how you like the book. You can get "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" on Amazon. Hugs to you both!

Hello and welcome!
How are you and your daughter today? I have AU too. I know it's hard; let me know if you or your girl needs to talk.
