Hello,
I am new to this forum and am trying to connect with other fellow alopecia sufferers. As I am wearing a hairpiece, but you won't notice it, many of my friends don't know it but for my job, I've "came out of the closet" let's say about two years ago.
I am trying to establish a meet every first wednesday of the month with alopecia and cancer sufferers in form of a support group for people from the southern California area, as I am located in Newport Beach.
The topic would be open, e.g. dealing with the problems of hair loss, effects of chemo, etc. If somebody is interested, you are welcome to contact me.
I am a professional hair stylist, alopecia sufferer and breast cancer
survivor. That's why, I totally understand my clients’ feelings, concerns, and needs. Because of my personal story, I am very passionate to help other people, suffering from hair loss. If you have any questions, please contact me per message or go to my website for more information.
"The distressing effects of Hair loss can diminish your self-esteem, confidence and generate feeling of self-consciousness about your perceived appearance to others."
