Hi I've been living with alopecia areata since march 2013. It has been an emotional time. I do not want to except it. I work for one of the sexiest companies in the entire world Victoria Secret. Which makes it extra hard! Each day I loose more and more hair. I now have a wig. As a woman this is a very hard disease to have. I never realized how important my hair was to me until now. I'm also getting Married this year. I'm having a very hard time coping with this disease. I can't understand why there is no cure for a disease that deals with hair loss. I've recently come to find out that some companies do not cover hair wigs under benefits. This is horrible. This is a medical condition and people with alopecia just like cancer patience have not asked for this disease. My God who would! Does anyone have any advice on how to cope with this? How can I accept it? I'm going crazy. I can't make sense of it at all.
