I've had alopecia for about a year now, or the onset was a year ago although it took six months for everything to be gone. I have hypothyrodism and have had for many many years. Where I live only synthetic hormone replacement are allowed and not animals ones, which I feel often are better for the whole of the body. I've gotten some bald spots at times before but they've always regrown when adjusting my thyroid dose.
I also have adrenal fatigue, very linked to thyroid problems.
To me I think its all related, hormones. (in my body maybe not on others)
I am very much into addressing the whole mind-body-soul aspect and I also work as a healer and medium. It's been hard for me acknowledging my own body's weakness while wanting to be a good healer for others- with others I often see their energies and can hear what is wrong but as with many intuitives understanding ourselves is far more tricky...
I work a lot with Donna Eden and her Energy Medicine and find their easy protocol helps balance a lot in the body. I highly recommend it.
About two months ago I quit eating dairy products (or cut down on them) after understanding not only that autoimmune people often pick up after quitting dairy and/or wheat but also just how much extra hormones are within dairy causing estrogen overload in many women and thus more problem arise within.
After I stopped eating dairy some hair has reappeared. It is still without color but it's hair!
