- I am 24 and was diagnosed with alopecia areta about 14 months ago. Then 8 months ago my hair loss got worse and my eyebrows eyelashes and the rest of my body hair fell out. I now have alopecia universalis. Within the last six weeks little hair hair has started regrowth. I am not sure if all my hair will regrow, but I try to stay optimistic.
