- I'm a 40 yr old mom of 3. A few yrs. ago during my divorce I started loosing hair. First it was one spot over my right ear, that kinda freaked me out! My Dermatoligist said that when hairloss is at the hair line, it most likely will not grow back. She suggested cortisone injections...so I agreed! lets just say...it doesn't tickle !!! A tiny patch grew back, but that was all! After a little while more hair came out all over my head. I wore wigs for about a year. I was completely bald on my head, I had lost my eyebrows, but not my eyelashes! I also lost the hair on my legs (not a terrible thing : ) and I had bald patches everywhere else. Then two years ago it started growing back again! Eyebrows came back too! Now just a few moths ago (about 6) I found another spot, I hoped it wouldn't continue but it did! Now I have bald patches all over my head ...I try to hide it by putting it up in a clip but I'm loosing too much to be able to hide the spots now. I 've been wearing clip on hair extentions for a few days now, but it is definately work!!! I am glad though that I still have my eyebrows this time around! Good luck to everyone...at least we know that we're not alone!!!
