I'm a writer who happened to come across this site while doing research for an article on head coverings in the Jewish community for the Brooklyn Jewish Examiner at http://www.examiner.com/x-12088-Brooklyn-Jewish-Examiner. Jewish women have something in common with individuals living with Alopecia - they wear wigs - as do I in my photo. So if you have any wig-related questions, feel free to send them my way!
Thanks a million!! I´m doing research cause I´m very scared and depressed and for me it´s very important the experiences of other people...And to know that there are women that wear wigs all year long(in this case for religious matters)for me it is admirable.
Rivkah..two more questions if possible...Are wigs comfortable in Summer? I have still have little hair and I want to know how you put on the wig? Os you hair tied or loose?
Rivkah..do you wear a wig? What type is it? Do you have a normal life with it?I bought a natural hair machine-made one in Argentina with stropes and it hurts me a bit at the front. There is another shop here that said to me that imported wigs from USA and that they are very flexible.
I´m from Argentina...I contacted a place here where the owner said to me that her wigs are imported from USA, jewish community. Could be possible? Are they comfortable to wear every day all day long?
