Happily married with 3 married children and 3 grandchildren - diagnosed with alopecia universalis 2 years ago much to my dismay. Took quite a while to accept this - only good thing I could see was that I didn't need to shave legs any more !
Do you have alopecia?

Are you age 18 or older?

Hi Ruth, it was great to meet you too! I had a fantastic day and really enjoyed meeting you all, I come away feeling like I had known you all for ages! It was great to talk to others and hear their stories too, makes you feel not so isolated (if you know what I mean). Take care and I hope to catch up with you again soon :)
Sorry for the late reply.
Have been wearing Freedom Hair for about 17 years. My first 2 vacuum/suction wigs I wore before Freedoms were made by a company in Australia and I then found Freedom here in NZ so have been with them ever since. They have worked out great for me, easy care/wear and yes you can swim with it on.
Hi Ruth
I can so relate with you I am going through similar times. The last few weeks I have not been dealing with my hair loss . I wear a wig to work everydqay but take it off the minute i get home. Have become a bit of a recluse over the last few weeks so need to get back out . This is the 2nd time i have lost my hair but it doesn't get easier still life miust go on and i have a womderful supportive family and friends
Would love to meet you
