- I noticed thinning hair about 20 years ago. Was referred to dermatologist who referred me to a hair loss company to make a wig (not telling me he gets a kick back). That wig was glued on my head with surgical glue as I cried. Next day I had it removed with a razor blade. From there I had weaves which caused more damage and now I wear wigs which is hard to find as I don't live in a back community and the wig shops here want $1500 and up so I purchase online which is hit and miss. It's a pleasant surprise to find this group as I feel alone.
