- I am a stay at home mom. I have 3 kids. Casey who is 12, Gavin is 11 and Emily is 4. Casey noticed a bald spot on his head 3 days ago. My husband started inspecting his head and we found 5 bald spots. They range from nickel size to quarter size. We went to the pediatrian today and found out it was alopecia. He has an appointment with a dermatologist next Thursday. I am on here just trying to find out as much information as possible!
