One day when I was nine or ten, I got into a fight with my sister. She pulled my hair and I went screaming to my parents. My stepmother checked my head and noticed a bald spot about the size of a quarter. My sister was grounded for pulling out my hair but really it wasn't her fault, it was alopecia areata. STRONG AND BRAVE GIRL
I'm at home, I'm so alone
I'm just thinking about what am I gonna do on my own
But I'm so confused, I just don't know what to do
Because all these people trying to tell me what to do with myself
But I won't let them
no
It's not up to them
no
To make any decision for me
no no
It's up to me
yeah
On what I wanna be
yeah, yeah
So just stay out of my, so I can find my own way and let me be,
Because I'm a strong and brave girl
Living in a crazy world
Tryin to make it out in this world
I need to find my own path
Not for them to tell me where it's at
I'm sure I'll be on the right track
Without their help
Because I'm a strong and brave girl
Just for you Sandra :)
Hello and welcome, Sandra!
How are you today?
Leslie Ann
Thank you so very much for the lovely comment as to what I wrote to Mekenna. I hoped it could & would help others in dealing with children. All of us taking on this disease as alopecians or parents of alopecians we all need encouragement, it was my pleasure & honor to be there for a fellow Alopecian Sister.
I'm so tickled you sent the friends request.
We are here fo0orr each other in & at AW.
Take care my Alopecian Sister & friend.
