- I developed alopecia last year it got so bad that I shaved my head so I didn't have to see the wads of hair that would fall out during a shower. I still have trouble accepting it. I have a three year old boy a loving husband who loves me with or without hair. They have been my rock and give me strength when it all overwhelms me.
