- Hi. This is my first time doing anything like this but desperately looking for any advice I can get. I'm 46 and have lichen Planopilaris. I'm receding terribly lost about 2 inches all round hair line and has progressed more aggressively again this year. Dermatologist has prescribed steroids and sent me packing. I'm getting to a stage where I can't hide the loss now and was wondering what my options are. I'm a single parent with two small children so cannot embark on the expense of intralacing. I have read about 3/4 wigs. My obvious concerns about meeting someone and having to face the fear of removing it at night. I'm at my wits end and feel i need to take control of the situation before I make myself ill with the worry. Is anyone else suffering with this condition that can offer advice please?
