- I am 29 and I have white spots in my beard now due to alopecia.
I had previously lost little patches, very small, of my facial hair and never really thought anything of it until they grew in white. Then I just thought I was getting old.
I have a friend that lost half of his eyebrow to alopecia and he told me what it was and now it all makes sense.
