Kastababy is not taking this too well at all either! I went to the Titans-Vikings game yesterday and was thoroughly disgusted by the way our boys were playing!!!! However, AP got me 2 TDs for my fantasy team so it wasn't a complete loss. LOL
Would love it if you were apart of my Book Project. Please Read about it under my forumn on my page. If you are interested, email me at bbibby_org@yahoo.com
Got your email address and added it to the group list. Hopefully something will work out sometime. We usually have a meeting at the U in September. Might be a good one for you.
Hi Steve, sometimes I'm a "bit" slow in keeping up with the internet stuff. Would you like to be added to the support group email list? We're having a meeting this Sunday (May 4th) if you're interested. Haven't figured out the summer event yet. But will keep you posted. Let me know. Heidi ...
That is my only reaction to the Vikings' draft this year. They did not address needs like players to replace Kenichi Udeze, no protection for Tarvaris Jackson, nobody to replace Troy Williamson, they still haven't found anyone to replace Nate Burleson when he went to Seattle, and there is no contingency plan for when AP gets injured again. His durability was an issue at Oklahoma and as awesome a beast as he is it will become a question in Minnesota too. WTF do we need another safety for? All the safeties in the world don't equal to the loss that they suffered when Corey Chavous went to St. Louis (who, awesome player that he was in Minnesota, is not translating into success in the Lou. I went to college with him, and he was awesome at Vandy!)
Simply put, this year's draft was a draft of nice-to-haves, not need-to-haves, with the exception of John David Booty. Brooks Bollinger couldn't get the job done with the Jets and T-Jax is still not getting it done (reeking of another Rex Grossman) -- this is not a long-term solution to the Vikes' needs. I love my boys, but this year I'm not holding my breath.
