I've had alopecia areata for about 20 years. I've always been able to conceal my spots with my hair, that is until last Spring. My AA kicked into high gear and I've only got about 40 percent coverage with my hair. Now, I wear Buffs everywhere. I'm married and have three kids, ages 10, 8 and 4.
