Hi, I'm a 57-year-old, white male who was diagnosed with Cicatricial alopecia in 2019. I noticed patchy hair loss on legs and arms when I turned 50 but my general physician brushed it off as "aging". I have had head hair loss since I was 21 but have slowed it with Propecia, Rogaine, vitamins, diet, intermittent fasting, certain shampoos, and staying (relatively) good shape through the years. However, now it's accelerating due to the CA diagnosis. I have found things that work, others that don't and have my theories on how alopecia kicks off for some people.
