About Me:
I´am Tomy, I have 22 years, but already is 3 years old that my hair began to fall throughout the body, I have alopecia universalis. At first I stayed with my self-esteem very low, because of prejudice and bullying that we suffer in today's society, I still have difficulties to live with my baldness, but now I'm much more used to. What bothers me is not the fact of my hair had fallen, what bothers me is the bad conscience of the people that do not understand our situations, and I know who alone I can not change that, but here we unite and become stronger :)

Is scalp micropigmentation worth it?

I have Universal Alopecia and like everyone who has this problem I suffer from prejudice and low self-esteem, I am thinking of doing the micropigmentation of the scalp. I wonder if anyone here did? Worth it? How did people start look?

Hello everybody, apart from Alopecia I also have anxiety. After that my hair fell out, I stayed with my self esteem too low and I started having anxiety because hair loss moved a lot with my emotional state because before I used to be praised by the people and repentes these compliments turned on looks strangers, rejection and difficulty of relating to people. Something similar also happened to you?

I have had hair loss off & on for many years but never thought it was alopecia because it always grew back. About a year ago my hair really started coming out in huge patches. My husband buzzed it short and then it all came out. It was AT then turned into AU. I have only just accepted it probably won't come back. I won't go out without a wig due to the rude comments I get.

That's great! Every hair counts! I have had AU for so long that I've learned to just let the superficial ones be. People are going to be people and most times its not going to be a positive experience. You have to keep me updated on your progress. I started using Cloderm on my eyebrows a few days ago so I have a long road ahead of me.
