- I started losing my hair during the summer of 2009. I hadn't even considered that the fact my hair was falling out meant I could develop bald patches until I noticed the first one - 1st September. I booked an emergency doctors appointment and was I had Alopecia Areata. No cause. No cure. My hair continued to fall out BUT it also started to grow back (very fine and baby-like at first) from Jan 2010. I ended up losing all of my hair over the course of 1 1/2 years. However, on a positive note my hair has grown back completely; I now have 100% coverage! =)
