My hair started to fall out in april of 2006 it progressed but I was always able to hide it. It grew back in june 2007 than starte to fall out again slowly in february 2008 in the ophiasis pattern and is almost gone. No one even knows but I started to wear a wig in sept 2009, I just wish i could find a good wig the synthetic wear out so quick , I need to buy human hair soon. I recently married my wonderfull husband in july 2009.
day by day...
its just dreadful knowing that tomorrow's shower floor is not looking any brighter than today's. but im with you. keeping the hair that haven't parted me yet!
It does help telling more people about it...
i actually went on a business trip and had to share a hotel room with two other people...
and it was a relief to know that the two people i was sharing the room with already knew about my condition.
wigs are expensive...especially the real hair ones! i have yet to buy one...still going with the hats.
but the uncertainty of whether or not my hair is going to grow back is just killing me!
and congratulations on your marriage!
Charity, Hi I got 2 real long haired wigs that match me almost eactly what I was before from Judy & Company in Sault MIchigan, her prices were great and she is an amazing lady, I also since I went bald totally in June 09 have 2 synthetic ones and they frizz up if you cook or anything with heat, My rela ones I cook, swim sit aroudn bonfires....they are really comfortable, as comfortable as can be, so she would probably ship to you??? it is hard, but doable. have a good day your new Canadian friend Denise
