- I'm 52 yr. female just recently diagnosed w/ LPP, however, I've been dealing w/ the symptoms for one year. I was just able to locate a Dr. who specialized in these conditions at Northwestern in CHI. My initial tx, began with ketoconazole prescription shampoo and clobetasol topical. I am still using the both products, considering dropping the shampoo, I'm not sure if it doesn't make my scalp drier and itchier. Tomorrow I will complete one month of Doxycycline 100mg 2x/dy. for 30 days, I have 2 more scripts. I feel as though I am beginning to see less desire to scratch. I'm going to ask F
Dr. if I should refill another month. I'm wondering if there has been any RX or OTC products for which relief is found. My head is either dry, and itchy as crazy or it has small little pustules - mini water blisters that again, I struggle to keep my hands away. Any input would be greatly appreciated
