Thank you for the friends request.  My daughter is going to be 8 this year and has had Alopecia since 5, her hair fell off now is has grown on it's own she is at about 80% regrowth, with one new spot, like you said God is in control, we just take it As it comes. Let me know if I can be on any help  I know is very difficult at first but it gets better as time goes on

Hi Francheskia! I will be writing to you here on your page, if you don't mind. Welcome to Alopecia World! I had "spots" at age 10, 15-20, then 35 onward. It came and went...so unpredictable! Be sure to talk to other parents on this site!

No, I never had Biotin.

As to childhood stress, I had girls gang up against me because they thought I was lying about not being able to see the board (age 8. They shut up when I got glasses.), I had chicken pox at 8, and I had straight As at 9 and was upset because I wanted to be a "normal kid." Perhaps those brought stress; I don't know! I first got the alopecia hair loss at 10.
