- i am 54 i have had alopecia since i was 8 years old , up to about 5 years ago i was paying for my wigs which cost me almost $3500 with every year they are going up in price, i no long work due to an injury and am now struggling to pay for my wigs, i get my wigs from angle wigs and they are so real looking and make me feel really good, i get $125 every second year through a swep program but its a help but not quite enough .
