Hello and welcome!
How are you today? Let me know if I can help.

Thanks so much for the add as a friend and joining the Wisconsin group which hopefully will help if people would like to get together somewhere.
I did sit down and cry...many times...and screamed and slammed doors; it's a period of great loss. (I can remember feeling horribly afraid of being diagnosed with cancer because of losing my hair again...before it fell out anyway; but, as I see my friends losing their hair to chemotherapy, it's hard to explain that it's the cancer that they should be feeling concern over but the hair always seems to be their greatest emotional blow.)
Hi - Welcome to Alopecia World. There are a few of us from the Madison area at this website. At least 2 of us have universalis. If you'd like to see some others from Wisconsin, click on "groups" and select "find groups"from the menu above. On the next window, type in "alopecians from Wisconsin". Then click on the photo icon. We'd love to have you join us. Please see my profile to find out how to contact me directly. Sorry you're having to deal with this disease. ((Hugs)) Susan
