- I'm Sarah and I've had alopecia since 2007.
I'm happily married and have 4 fantastic children. I work as a teaching assistant and I'm also self employed making and selling jewelry made from stuff I collect on the beach.
I've been wearing wigs since I first shaved my head about 4 years ago. I'm now completely bald and am trying hard to pluck up the courage to start going out without a wig, I'm sick of hiding the real me!
