Hey Sarah!

I have alopecia universalis since the age of 10. I didn't start wearing a vauum piece until 1989. Wow, what a change that made in my life. I still LOVE it.

I tried spiro and i didnt like the way it made me feel and you can only get it thru a doc, never tried rogain so i dont know if would work for me. and yes i pretty much have told myself it is what it is and will let it take its course because for me the more money and time i spend trying to save it the harder it will be as it gets worse over time. But i'm glad your having some success sometimes we have to do all we can and if it doesnt work then you can adleast say you tried. well nice meeting you and see ya lata :o)

welcome to AW i too have been going thru this for a while and its a pain in the butt, i dont use anything just wear scarves until its time to cut my hair off. I hope all is well and if you ever need to talk i'm only a click away talk to you soon bye :o)
