- Have suffered from AA since a baby (as my family recollects). It started off as 2 patches on either side of my part & has progressed gradually over 30 years. After trying various hair pieces, Synthetic wigs, HH wigs - am currently contemplating shaving off the rest & getting myself a vacuum wig as the ease of use seems to be a big plus.
