I'm a grandmother - never sick a day in my life until I was diagnosed with Stage IIB IDC . Bummer! Chemo, surgery & radiation have left me a little battle worn (okay, a LOT battle worn) but I am cancer free now and inching back to feeling like my old self -- that is except for my bald head which appears to be permanent at this point, fatigue, neuropathy, low blood counts. But I'm not whining - I'm really glad to be alive.
