I find that over the last few years I am suffering oddish medical issues. It seems after I push myself a bit, the next day I'm tired. That is pretty normal.,,, but, I find that my blood feels like it's boiling. I can't pin point to what is going on, but find it's an all over malaise. I've had alopecia for 43 yrs, mostly universalis, and do know my average body temperature is 95. and I have seen it 94. Because I"m still menopausal, the hot flashes begin to come, and it appears it's fed by the…

Willow, just thought I would give you a Hello.  Have not talked to many on this site in some time, seems I just don't follow it on a regular basis and I am not the most happy person, still struggles with the lost of my husband, don't want to be a downer all the time.   Hope you are doing well.

My husband was supportive when all this happened and thru our entire marriage of 38 yrs before he died. I personally will never give up my wig, I would feel quite naked without it. The two youngest of our kids seem to be ok with it, but the oldest is embarrassed by me, she told me this when she graduated HS. I do not presently have a relationship with her and she is now 40 yrs old. I worried so that my kids would have alopecia, but so for they have not. I don't know that I have come to terms with it all, but it has been years since I have cried myself to sleep over the alopecia, sure cried an ocean of tears back then, especially since the doctors at the time were so full of no information, at least the ones I went to see. I even went as far as the Mayo Clinic and they were no help at all.

I have never met someone with AU as long as I, I was always made to feel like some sort of freak, even by the doctors that I saw so I finally stopped seeing them seeing answers way back then. Nice to know someone who has been there as long as I. Not that I wish this on anyone, but it is nice to know I am not alone.

Hello and welcome, willow!

How are you today? I have AU, too.
